Last month I wrote 3 Great Links about Pinterest for Writers Who Aren’t There Yet (or even if you are).
Pinterest enthusiasts said, “Come join the fun!” and some confessed to spending too much time there. Others more tentatively said, “I’ve heard about it,” or even, “I have an account, but I don’t know what to do with it.”
Now that I’ve joined Pinterest myself, I understand all of those comments much better!
If you’re already on Pinterest and enjoying it, would you please help me out by following me there, and I’ll follow you back: http://www.pinterest.com/aprilyamasaki/. I’m just starting to pin, haven’t figured out the following part yet, and would love to learn from you.
If you’re not sure how to use Pinterest – think of it as a series of online bulletin boards where you can pin pictures that interest you and share them with others. This sign # is a hashtag that marks keywords to describe a board or an individual pin, but you can feel free to ignore all of those. I now have 5 boards that I’ve listed below in the order that I created them. Or just click on this link–you don’t have to be a member to see them here: http://www.pinterest.com/aprilyamasaki/
Books: I love reading and reviewing books. On this board you’ll see covers of the books I’ve reviewed on this blog. Clicking on a book cover will take you to my review. #bookreviews
Spiritual Practices: Ideas, quotes, and resources for nurturing spiritual practice in solitude and with others. Some of the pictures on this board link back to posts on my blog, but I’m mainly collecting resources from others here. #spiritualpractice
Writing Quotes: Inspiring and encouraging words about #writing
Nurturing My Inner Poet: Poetry and poets – #poetry #creativity #poets #quotes
Healthy Crockpot: I like to cook and eat healthy foods, and on busy pastoring and writing days, I especially appreciate my crockpot. I’m looking forward to trying these new recipes. #healthy #crockpot #slowcooker #recipes
So these are my 5 best (only, so far!) boards on Pinterest. I hope to see you there!

Hi! I’ve been reading your book reviews and would like to invite you to a new Pinterest board: http://www.pinterest.com/lasesana/books-to-read-reviews-and-recommendations/ This is a place for book lovers to share their favorite books and also a great place to increase traffic to your website by pinning your own book reviews or book-related discussions.
Thanks — it’s good to meet you, and I look forward to checking out your new Pinterest board.
