Hope Beyond Our Sorrows and the Bite-Sized Book Club

The Bite-Sized Book Club is a one-hour online conversation with one book, one author, and anyone who registers. It’s truly bite-sized, since you register for just one conversation at a time without having to commit to the whole series. I’m looking forward to the different books and authors taking part over the next months, and am delighted that the series starts with me and Hope Beyond Our Sorrows!

Hosted by Common Word and Canadian Mennonite, the free registration includes the first bite-sized chapter of Hope Beyond Our Sorrows, compliments of the publisher, Herald Press. Purchase the book at your favourite local book store—I’m excited that Hope Beyond Our Sorrows is available locally at House of James and Cole’s in Abbotsford. It’s also available from Herald Press, Amazon, and other online stores. At Common Word, Hope Beyond Our Sorrows is now on sale for 7% off.

Please register to join us on Thursday, November 6, 7 p.m. CST. I’d love to see you there!

Faith and Hope with April Yamasaki

I write, edit, teach, preach, and mentor in a variety of venues, platforms, and publications. The common thread? To encourage and inspire people of all ages to live with faith and hope. I’d love for you to join me!

In all the challenges, joys, and ordinary moments of daily life, God’s mercies never fail. They are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
