Sacred Pauses Book Launch: February 4!

You are warmly invited to House of James bookstore and coffee shop in Abbotsford, B.C., for the official launch of Sacred Pauses: Spiritual Practices for Personal Renewal

Monday, February 4, Book Launch at House of James, 2743 Emerson Street, Abbotsford, B.C., 7:00pm. It’s my privilege to have poet and author Barbara Nickel introduce me at the launch. I also plan to do a short reading from the book, share how it came to be written, and answer a few questions. There will be plenty of time for more informal interaction and book signing afterward. I would love for you to be there!

Saturday, February 9, 11:00am – 1pm, Book Signing at House of James, 2743 Emerson Street, Abbotsford, B.C. For those who can’t make it on the Monday, and/or would like to stop by again, I’m planning to be at the book store on the following Saturday mid-day, and would love to see you then!

For the month of February, I’m also celebrating with a blogfest where bloggers can link up with their own posts–watch for details to come on how you can participate–and a February blog tour:

February 5 – interview with Shirley Showalter www.shirleyshowalter.com

week of February 11 – interview with Chris Lenshyn www.anabaptistly.wordpress.com

week of February 18 – guest post on 5thingstodotoday.com

I’m still lining up additional interview and guest post dates, and will let you know as more are confirmed.

There’s also still time to enter the Goodreads book giveaway if you haven’t already.

I’d love for you to help me celebrate!

  1. Congratulations, April! I look forward to reading your book.

  2. I hope and pray your launch goes well. I would think it is an important milestone (as well as a potential new beginning).

  3. Thanks Ryan and Tony – I’m looking forward to having the book in print–it’s one thing to go over proofs and see pictures of the cover, and quite another to have the finished product in hand and feel the cover, the weight of the paper, etc. I can hardly wait!

  4. April, thanks for subscribing to my blog. I am honored. Congratulations on the book! I love the topic you chose to write on — I so “need” this! Many blessing to you as you continue to live our your faith for Him.

  5. All the best with your blog as well–if you write a post on a sacred pauses theme, I hope that you’ll link up with my blog carnival too: https://aprilyamasaki.com/2013/02/21/sacred-pauses-on-tour-godspace/
